Forced Action Mixer Range

Probably the most versatile mixers in the world!

Our forced action mixer range is comprehensive and spans from the super-portable 40L machine, which weighs just 64kg and can mix over 90kg of material in one pan in a matter of minutes, to the mammoth 300L forced action mixer which can produce up to 700kg of material and can be used for large scale commercial mixing of concrete, screed, resin bound gravel, mortar, render and more.

These durable, rugged machines have been specially designed to last the test of time in even the most demanding of conditions. As construction sites are harsh with the presence of chemicals, salts, solvents and moisture, these upright pan mixers are manufactured to endure, regardless. Simple to clean, safe and mobile, the entire forced action mixer range is sure to stay reliable, just as any good concrete mixer should.

Belt Conveyors

Durable, efficient and easy to use

Our belt conveyors are lightweight, durable, sturdy, easy to clean and maintain machines ideal for use on both professional and domestic projects. Thanks to its specially designed aluminium frame and size, each belt conveyor is easily transported around work sites and can be angled up staircases, to second stories and much more. Capable of moving up to 322 tonnes of material per day, our conveyors remove a large amount of labour intensive work which would otherwise be required. Thank to its unique design too, parts of your conveyor can be ‘snapped on and off’ so you are able to create the perfect length conveyor for your project.

Versatile and reliable machines which are able to move large quantities of rubble, earth & soil, bricks, gravels and other building materials exactly where you need them. Our belt conveyors will do the job to the highest standard each and every time whilst keeping you safe as each machine includes a protective motor switch and a thermal cut off.

handheld Paddle Mixers
MIX RESIN BINDER, PLASTER, PAINT, CEMENT, MORTAR & RENDER

A paddle mixer is used to quickly and efficiently mix a wide variety of materials such as mortar, resin binders, paint, plaster, cement and more with ease. The specially designed whisks that are attached to the mixer draw the material through the rotating blades to ensure that a lump-free and consistent mixture is achieved. The soft start and variable speed on certain mixers will ensure greater control of the mixture, reducing the amount of mess during the mixing process. The soft grip handles also give you a little added comfort whilst using the mixers.

We have a range of 3 hand-held electric paddle mixers that have been specially designed along with a number of whisks for mixing specific materials as well as possible to ensure your machine is the most efficient it can be for the work you are completing. Each electric mixer comes equipped with both a drill chuck and an M14 thread for maximum compatibility with most types of whisk.

Each SoRoTo mixer comes with:

• A soft start motor to increase control and reduce mess,
• An included paddle for immediate operation,
• An on/off switch,
• Either 1 (850w) or 2 gears (1220w & 1300w)

Paddle mixers are commonly used by plasterers. Our mixers can also be known in the industry as a plaster mixer or a plastering tool.

When used with a GA or SA series whisk (a plasterers whisk) our mixers are the perfect size and shape for creating just the right amount of plaster for a person to work with without the risk of it beginning to dry before being applied. Unlike traditional whisks, our GA and SA series whisks are a conical shape meaning mixing times are up to 20% faster and they are able to scrape the edges of buckets and tubs to removed the need for unnecessary twisting and movement whilst avoiding potential mess

History of the pan mixer

Benny Og Blander With A SoRoTo Mixer

Mason Turns Manufacturer

The story of SoRoTo starts in 1983 when Benny Andersen, a bricklayer at the time, made the decision to construct a mixer for himself and his colleagues for the purpose of mixing materials for tiling, flooring, concrete renovation and regular brick and stone work which was portable enough to use inside.

Due to the indoor use of the forced action mixer, it was a requirement for it to fit through doors and for it to be simple to take up a staircase, as well as being suitably powered by a standard domestic output. Many forced action mixers of the day were cumbersome, difficult to handle and powered by either 3-phase current (rarely seen in domestic properties) or noisy, smoky diesel or petrol engines.

The Forced Action Mixer: An Overnight Sensation

In order to accomplish the requirements of his invention, Benny had to disregard any previous design and construction of the traditional mixer. Despite this, he presented his new, innovative and groundbreaking machine after only a year or two of intensive labouring.

At a capacity of 40 litres, the first forced action mixer was the entire contents of a standard bag at the time and as per his original requirement, it was small enough to transport by a single man to the 4th storey and powered by standard electrical outlets.

The major design innovation came through the patented mixing arms, which secured the perfect mix and could be inserted and removed from the pan with the need for any tools whatsoever and simply lifted out of the machine. The reception from industry professionals was beyond imaginable and quickly became a major breakthrough.

Danish construction craftsmen however were booming at the time and very quickly required machines with a larger capacity – something which has continued to happen over the decades.

Today, we manufacture a complete range of pan mixers; 40L, 80L, 100L, 120L, 200L and 300L, along with a lightweight version, the 65L. Also manufacturing and distributing belt conveyors, paddle whisks and rotating-drum cement mixers amongst other to the Danish market and worldwide.
